Sarallah Association Inc. brings Melbourne families together to build and manage a community masjid with openness, shared responsibility and sincere service. Led by Jawad Khan Mohammadi, we meet weekly for Komail Dua and work together toward a lasting home for worship.

Our Vision
To establish a vibrant, inclusive, and self-sustaining Islamic community center and sanctuary in South-East Melbourne, rooted in the teachings of the Holy Quran and the Ahlulbayt (a.s.), that nurtures spiritual growth, preserves cultural identity, supports families, and serves as a beacon of unity, compassion, and civic engagement across generations.
Our Mission
SARALLAH Association Inc. is dedicated to fostering a strong, connected, and resilient community through spiritual, social, and educational initiatives. Our core mission is anchored in five fundamental pillars:
1. Spiritual & Cultural Preservation
- Organize weekly gatherings, including Thursday evening Kumayl Doa, Friday congregations, and annual religious observances during Muharram, Ramadan, and major Islamic occasions.
- Provide a welcoming, family-oriented space that instills core ethical values and spiritual wisdom in our youth.
2. Permanent Community Home & Asset Security
- Acquire and establish a dedicated, permanent community center and mosque venue in South-East Melbourne to accommodate the growing needs of our community.
- Maintain absolute financial integrity, uncompromising transparency, and robust corporate governance in safeguarding all community assets.
3. Youth Development & Education
- Deliver educational programs, Quranic studies, language learning, and leadership initiatives tailored to empower children and young adults.
- Create safe, engaging environments where young community members can build confidence, strong friendships, and positive civic identities.
4. Compassionate Community Welfare
- Provide social support services, hardship assistance, and poverty relief utilizing religiously mandated funds (Khums, Zakat, Fitrah, Kaffarah) in strict accordance with Islamic ethics and local legal frameworks.
- Offer pastoral care, family guidance, and bereavement support for community members in times of need.
5. Civic Engagement & Social Harmony
- Promote interfaith dialogue, cultural understanding, and positive collaboration with local councils, multicultural groups, and the broader Australian society.
- Embody the authentic values of Islamic mercy, hospitality, and civic responsibility through active community service and public outreach.
